I took a series of images for this charming little girl. I did some post work to these but the ones given to the parents are clean and simple compositions on a white drop(they were taken for a modeling agency). I edited these for my likings, just wanted to share these two images, they were my favorite from the shoot! Enjoy and comments are welcome!

Had the pleasure to do photoshoot at Illinois Dance Academy in Joliet, IL. They had two guest Instructors there tonight:

Sonya Tayeh 

Sonya Tayeh grew up in Detroit, MI - the home of Motown, Techno, and many forms of inventive dance. Growing up in such a diverse environment, sound and movement became Sonya Tayeh's nature.  Sonya now resides in Los Angeles where she is faculty at the Edge Performing Arts School, and LMU University. She is proud to be represented by MSA Agency for choreography. Her work has gleamed through television screens on So You Think You Can Dance and the new promo commercial for Dancing With The Stars. She also travels the world teaching workshops, intensive master classes, and setting works.

Nick Pupillo

After an extensive career as a dancer, teacher and choreographer, Nick Pupillo decided that his main priority would be to nurture young talent by establishing Visceral Studio Company.  Nick attended Indiana University on full scholarship, where he studied with Jacques and Virginia Cesbron, as well as Leslie Peck and Violette Verdy. He graduated with a B.S. in ballet, concentrating in teaching and choreography. A former member of Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, Nick toured with the company throughout the United States and internationally for three years. He has worked with many esteemed choreographers, including Lynne Taylor-Corbett, Ron DeJesus, Randy Duncan, Mark Godden, Jon Lehrer, Eddy Ocampo, Tony Powell, and Davis Robertson. Additional performance credits include various roles with the Ruth Page Foundation Nutcracker, Brass Theater featuring the Star of Indiana, Dance Chicago, Schaumburg Dance Ensemble, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Stars of Dance Chicago, and Dance for Life.
